Obituary

Robert LiCurtis Davis, Jr. was born December 3, 1981 to Robert Sr. and the late Carmen Mosley Davis at Wilmington Hospital, Wilmington, Delaware. He departed this life on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Towson, Maryland.

Robert, better known as Bobby, received his high school diploma from Elkton High School. He continued his education at Delaware State University, Dover, Delaware where he was awarded the Bachelors of Arts degree (Cum Laude) in Math and Computer Science. He was employed as Math Teacher at Bohemia Manor High School for 10 years where he also coached football and wrestling. He also taught at Safford High School, Safford, Arizona and Appoquininmick High School in Middletown Delaware.

Bobby was a member of Wright's AME Church where he gave his life to Christ. He enjoyed coaching, fishing, crabbing and spending time with family and friends. He was a fun-loving person with a warm smile and a humble demeanor.

Bobby leaves to cherish his memory his father Robert L. Davis Sr. (Glenn Ann), Elkton;3 sisters: Melissa Travis, Dover Delaware; Dorothy Suggs, Harrington Delaware; Jeannine Neal, Dover Delaware; Grandmother Claretta Davis, Milford, Delaware, 11 aunts, 3 uncles, 11 nieces and nephews and a host of cousins and friends.

I want to send my condolences to his family at this time. I had a lot of fun memories with him as my teacher. His fun loving energy and smile would brighten up any room. You will truly be missed.

My heart goes out to Davis family and friends, What I love the most about Bobby was his laughter, he was so funny, We shared so many good times together that we will always cherish. He had a heart of gold,He had amazing Parents and friends. Bob will always be number 3, he knows what this means. .Mike and Bonnie Lewis
