Jacqueline was better known as “Jackie” to her friends and family. Jackie received her early education in the Wilmington Public School System. She met James E. Caldwell, Jr. of Rocky Mountain, North Carolina, where they move to Washington, D.C. They produced two sons, James E. Caldwell III and Jermaine D. Caldwell.
Jackie worked as a clerk at the F.B.I. where she met Lucy Rhodes and a host of other co-workers. She retired from the Federal Government after 35 years of service. Jackie loved her family and friends so much so that she couldn’t wait until the weekend, to see her family and friends and to play music and resume where they left off last weekend. Jackie would do any and everything to help her family or friends if she could.
Here favorite hobbies were music and family and that one special assignment was chores. She has a lifelong friend that she accepted as her sister, Lucy Rhodes. Jackie was a very loving and caring women who really understood what family meant.
Jackie leaves to cherish her memory; her loving sons, James E. Caldwell, III and Jermaine A. Caldwell; her sister Carolyn Mills and Joann Barrett; along with 3 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
